No two travelers are the same. Everybody has different reasons for traveling, different desires, different aims for what they want to get out of a trip. That’s why I don’t provide pre-packaged itineraries — one size does not fit all, especially in Scotland where divergent interests can send travelers to different corners of the country.
For many, Scotland is the trip of a lifetime. For others, they simply can’t spend hours and hours scouring the internet to craft an itinerary that never feels quite right. I’ve done the research, found the best places and noted the worst, and criss-crossed Scotland more times than there are lines on your palm. Work with me and you won’t have to worry about spoiling your dream vacation. Let’s create your bespoke Scotland itinerary!

The custom itinerary is tailored to your needs and desires, and includes:
- Specific regions and towns in which to base yourself.
- Accommodation recommendations in each destination.
- A detailed, daily itinerary.
- Transportation recommendations including specific routes and modes of travel.
- Restaurant suggestions in each destination.
- Tours, hikes, and excursions that emphasize serendipity and independent exploration.
- Must-see sites, can’t-miss activities, and essential visits I’ve discovered from over a decade traveling around Scotland.
How It Works and What to Expect
- You’ll first fill out a questionnaire to provide preliminary details about the trip to Scotland you’d like planned. The more detailed you are the better!
- After I receive the questionnaire and review it, I’ll contact you so we can set up a short, 15-minute call to talk through your vision for the trip. This helps me get a sense for who you are and what you seek from your visit to Scotland.
- Following the preliminary call, I’ll draw up an invoice and send it to you.
- Once I’ve received payment I’ll get to work drafting your detailed day-by-day itinerary.
- When I’ve finished putting together your bespoke itinerary, I’ll send you the finalized PDF document containing your tailored itinerary so you’ll have time to review it before our call.
- We’ll then work together to schedule a time for an hour-long consultation in which we’ll go over the itinerary at a high level and hone in on any lingering questions you might have.
- From that point onward, I am available to you for any questions you might have regarding your trip to Scotland.
Fee
The cost of each custom itinerary varies since it is a unique, bespoke creation based on the number of travelers, trip duration, destinations, desired excursions, and any special requests that require additional time and research.
Bespoke itineraries start at $100 per planned day, payable by Paypal or credit/debit card. I will provide an exact fee after our preliminary call.
